I'm Juanelle. Born in 1981 in Pretoria, South Africa — a sunny, leafy student town. I emigrated to London with a partner in 2006 at 24, became a UK citizen after 10 years, and then in 2016 got invited to live on a tiny tropical island in Southern Thailand and thought… "What an adventure — why not?" I'm still here. Same house. Two kids. Now a third husband (we got married this year, 2026 🥂). I genuinely could not make this life up.

I hold an Honours Degree in Psychology and spent a decade in London as a Floating Support Officer, working with people navigating mental health challenges, domestic violence, and addiction, and then as a Life Coach. I also volunteered at community centres and conscious festivals, and became a Reiki Practitioner. I know what real transformation looks like — and I know how rarely women are offered it in a format that actually respects how they live.

I've written and published four books on conscious relationships, limiting beliefs, and personal empowerment. The last one, Finding My Voice — A true story about domestic violence in Thailand and community silencing, awoke something fierce within me. I found my way back to myself and decided to do this course for myself. When a group of women approached me wanting to join me on the journey, it felt like the universe giving me a sign that I was exactly where I needed to be.

I'm currently writing my fifth book — on Buddhism and the fascinating differences between Thai, Indian, and other Asian Buddhist traditions and how the teachings have spread and evolved. I'm very excited about it, and I'll be sharing free behind-the-scenes first drafts on Patreon! 🙏

I'm also a professional narrator of self-help, psychology, and spiritual books — you can find around 200 titles narrated by me online on different platforms and markets (search Juanelle Louise Holl if you're curious). I've been devouring books like these my whole life, and somewhere along the way I was told I had an extremely soothing voice and presence — so narrating them felt like a natural next step. Being able to "channel" the author didn't hurt either. 😉 Which means that on this journey, you get 50+ hours of smooth, professional audio recordings. Lucky you!

When I'm not working, you'll find me playing classical piano on our balcony (yes, we have a piano on the balcony — tropical island life has its perks), swimming in the sea, drumming and dancing around a fire, exploring philosophy, or losing myself in a good book in the hammock. There isn't a day that goes by without a little kitchen dance. I also host occasional sober dance sessions on our balcony for locals and tourists — which is exactly as joyful as it sounds. 🔥

I actually started developing the goddess framework for this course back in 2016, the year I arrived on the island. It's been a long, loving labour. After our pilot circles produced profound, lasting shifts — and reviews that honestly made me cry — we officially launched in September 2025. Women who've walked this path describe it as the first thing that actually stayed.
